Chloe
The beautiful Chloe got married at Haarlem Mill in the Peak District in her bespoke wedding gown. Chloe had fallen in love with a few of my pieces at one of my bridal stockists, but wanted a bespoke piece creating using her favourite elements. I absolutely loved working with Chloe on her design. Having a design background herself we worked together throughout the process and created something absolutely perfect for her wedding day. Chloe’s dress was a stunning wrap over full length silk gown with long ties at the back. It was worn over a separate full length sequin skirt which you could see sparkling through the split as she moved and walked. Her top also had a section of the sequins under her wrap to tie the whole outfit in together. Her sleeves were gathered at the wrist and taken from my wrap top style; Fraser. I think my favourite part of Chloe’s dress was the embroidery she chose to have on one of her dress ties. Chloe wanted her grandma to be close to her during her wedding and so chose to have her Nannas handwriting embroidered onto the end of one of her dress ties. It was such a lovely touch and such a special detail to remember her on the day.

“My dress. What can I say? I am beyond thankful to two amazing people who helped me make my dream dress. I was struggling to find something similar to what I had seen as I wanted something more lightweight and simplistic. I had my own designs and drawings and a folder full of inspiration (Abby and Susie looked very pleased I was so organised) I work within the fashion industry anyway and I always wanted to design my own dress. Susie made my dream come to life in more ways than I could ever had imagined. There is a particular element on the dress that I needed including, Susie managed to recreate my Nanna’s handwriting on one of the tie lengths at the back, ‘I love you millions and millions sunshine’ is something she always said to me, in texts and cards and in person. Sadly, we lost her in March this year and it was a shock to everyone, it was more heartbreaking because she adored Daniel as her only grandson and I knew how much this day would have meant to her.”
