Jo

Being an incredibly talented makeup artist I have had the pleasure of working with Jo on various projects within the wedding industry and was absolutely over the moon when she contacted me about her wedding outfit. She had already purchased her bridal skirt and wanted a bespoke top to complete her outfit. We set about designing something special for her day; however the next time I spoke to Jo she informed me the wonderful news that she was expecting her second child. Queue a dramatic outfit change and redesign of a custom maternity gown that was fun and comfortable for her wedding at the stunning Aswarby Rectory. However covid had other plans and their March 2020 wedding was not meant to be. We put Jos outfit on the back burner and would reasses when they had a new date for their day the other side of covid.

Jo came back to me when they had rebooked their date with her adorable new addition now in tow-and I set about designing a new outfit for her based around her original skirt. Jo loved my Fraser top in the organza silk so we decided to go for a custom version of that with a silk cami to wear under. Jo paired this with an amazing polka dot veil bow and she just looked killer for her spring wedding at Aswarby rectory.

Magda captured the day wonderfully and Jo did her own makeup of course with Rock and Roller styling her hair. What a gorgeous day! Flowers from Peonies and Plumes.
