Rosie & Griff
Rosie and Griff were married in Rosie’s hometown of Matlock in December 2017. I adored designing and creating Rosie’s dress, she chose to have a bespoke dress and trusted me completely to design the perfect dress for her. As it was a winter wedding she chose a full sleeved design and I sourced the most gorgeous heavy guipure lace especially for her featuring a Rose design which fitted their winter wedding perfectly. Her skirt featured layers of frothy tulle and she chose a delicate floor length veil to compliment the look perfectly. The back of the dress had gorgeous crystal style buttons and featured a single blue button for her ‘something blue’.
“From start to finish Susie made the process a dream. I had never seen a dress in a shop that I liked so had been worried about finding something that I would feel comfortable in. Susie managed to capture my ideas for what I wanted and make me a dress that made me feel wonderful - me on my best day! With beautiful extra touches like a single blue button, the dress was perfect down to the last detail, I have never worn anything so special and so me.” - Rosie
Groom Griff wanted to be able to incorporate his family tartan into the wedding and so chose to have bespoke waistcoats made for him and his groomsmen. The tartan was a mix of greens, blues and a red which worked so well for their winter wedding.
“Susie worked tirelessly to give my (now) wife the dream dress she deserved. Her vision and patience mean that she can bring her fantastic ideas to life, while bringing the bride (and bridal party) along with her, taking their comments into account and managing to keep everyone happy at the same time! She is a fantastic designer, person and businesswoman, and thoroughly deserves to be celebrated.” -Griff
With their wedding being late in the day in December they didn’t have much opportunity for outside photos so booked a post wedding shoot with incredible photographer Magda in the Peak District earlier this year. Frances & Rose provided a gorgeous bouquet and flower crown and the pictures are truly phenomenal.
